Westchase Plush Hybrid

For a Plush Memory Foam feel, our Westchase Plush is our second softest mattresses. Our Bolsa coil system uses up to 1,283 (King) individually wrapped pocketed coils for optimal support (15 gauge). Reinforced steel perimeter (16 gauge) creates a firm edge that doesn’t sag (we do not use foam incasement) we use thinner stronger steel coiled edge for side support of the mattress. The coils are visible and can be felt from the sides of the mattresses. It does not include the upgraded and extra NanoCoil system like in our Luxury Latex/ Belleair Collection. 2" Medium 4lb Gel-infused Memory Foam to give that plush feel without that "quicksand" sinking feel on top our Bolsa coil system for support. Designed with a 1.5" Plush Quilt. For our fire ressistent material we use a Rayon, this is made from wood pulp and is USDA biobased certified product. We do not use fiberglass in any of our mattresses.

Why Memory Foam Has A Bad Reputation

Memory foam gets a bad reputation primarily because it traps body heat, making sleepers feel overly warm, and creates a "quicksand" sinking feeling that restricts easy movement. Additionally, new mattresses often emit strong chemical odors (off-gassing), and the synthetic materials can lack the robust support needed for proper spine alignment.

Where We Separate From Those Issues

When it comes to memory foam the more of it the more it traps heat and the more you sink into and don't get the true affects of its purpose in the Westchase Plush there is a cotton quilt and side panels, and pocketed fabric encased coils, there is more allowing air flow then trapping it. Even when using 2" of Memory foam and using it on top of coils, it keeps from that sinking "quicksand" feeling. We also do not use and Hazardous chemicals that give you that off-gassing smell
